Lead AI Risk Manager

As a Lead AI Risk Manager, you will leverage your expertise in risk analysis and management to enhance our third-party risk processes and drive the successful delivery of projects. You will serve as the first line of defense in risk management, playing a key role in identifying potential risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

Key Responsibilities :

Establish collaborative relationships with Enterprise Supplier Management (ESM) and other teams to analyze the impact of technology risks on crucial business processes.

Conduct comprehensive risk reviews and assessments, advising on necessary risk mitigation activities.

Engage with various leaders across compliance and cybersecurity to address key technology risks.

Prepare and present periodic risk reviews and reports to executives, highlighting metrics and findings.

Drive risk analysis initiatives and deep-dive investigations to bolster our overall risk posture.

Design and implement robust internal risk governance processes.

Continuously enhance risk programs in line with industry best practices and Capital One’s strategic objectives.

Foster innovative approaches within the Enterprise Services Risk organization.

Basic Qualifications :

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.

A minimum of 1 year of experience in the Financial Services and Technology industry.

At least 3 years of experience in project, program, process, and risk management.

A minimum of 3 years of experience facilitating cross-functional discussions.

Preferred Qualifications :

Bachelor's Degree or military experience.

3+ years of experience in risk management or technology-related disciplines.

1+ years of experience in the Financial Services industry.

Experience in developing controls and risk reporting activities.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for engaging with all levels of leadership.

Proficient in problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills, adaptable to shifting priorities.

At least 3 years of experience leading cross-functional programs.
