Schedule : Full-Time, Monday-Friday, 8 : 30am-5pm (NOTE : There may be flexibility for a schedule of (4) 10-hr shifts from Tuesday-Friday, depending on preferences of final candidate.)

Highlights of the position :

• Provides high-quality service to our patients and clinics by demonstrating friendliness, helpfulness, and efficient and accurate processing of lab specimens.
• Receives, sorts, and processes specimens, and collaborates with various lab departments to ensure testing is accomplished in a timely and accurate manner.
• May help run quality control material, analyze specimens, and report results as needed.
• Responsible for tracking specimens, uploading into the state web portal and keeping up with results.
• Navigates EMR for order retrieval, scheduling, and preparation of billing forms.
• Performs clerical functions including data entry, phone service, filing, fax / copier services, and other support as needed.
• Assists in maintaining compliance with quality assurance standards.
• Collaborates with lab and practice teams to improve the patient experience and lab processes.
