Are you a passionate Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) looking for PRN opportunities? Look no further! Yoakum Community Hospital, a not-for-profit hospital managed by Community Hospital Corporation, is seeking a talented and dedicated COTA to join our team.

As a PRN COTA, you will administer occupational therapy to patients requiring occupational therapy services. You will perform services in accordance with physicians' orders and the occupational therapy plan of care. In addition, you will provide feedback and reports to the Director and Medical Staff as needed, participate in patient and family teaching, and work cooperatively with other members of the patient team.

To be successful in this role, you must demonstrate competency in all procedures within the scope of practice and have a thorough understanding of the range of treatments needed by patients across various age groups. Continuously maintaining licensure and professional expertise through on-site and off-site continuing education is also essential in this role.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited two-year Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Program

Current Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant Certification

Current CPR certification.
