Position Summary
The Associate Regional Manager supports the regional sales organization by coordinating day-to-day sales operations, proposal management, and customer order processing. This role serves as a key liaison between sales representatives, customers, product management, and estimating teams to ensure seamless execution from quotation through delivery.
The ideal candidate has a background in industrial or mechanical construction sales, project management, or a related technical sales environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as the main point of contact for regional sales managers, independent reps, and customers to facilitate the complete sales cycle—from RFQs to order fulfillment.
- Manage and coordinate the RFQ / Proposal process , ensuring customer requirements, delivery expectations, and technical specifications are accurately captured and communicated.
- Collaborate with estimators and product managers to prepare detailed proposals and competitive pricing packages.
- Handle the Sales Order process , including reviewing purchase orders, entering orders into the ERP system, and tracking progress through to delivery.
- Proactively pursue new business opportunities within assigned territories or industry segments.
- Provide inside sales support to Regional Sales Managers and customer service teams.
- Conduct follow-ups on open proposals and maintain accurate sales records.
- Assist in targeted marketing efforts within specific product lines or industry verticals.
- Participate in field service or production planning meetings to support territorial needs and customer projects.
Required Qualifications
Education : Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field from an accredited institution.Experience : 3–5 years of experience in technical or industrial sales, project management, or a related customer-facing role.Technical Proficiency :Strong command of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project).Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, or similar).Experience with CRM software such as Salesforce, or the ability to learn new systems quickly.Licenses : Valid driver’s license and clean driving record; passport or ability to obtain one.Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Industrial Technology.Prior experience in mechanical or industrial construction markets.Exposure to full-cycle project management processes.
