Project Architect

is seeking a full-time Project Architect to join our team in our Downtown Ventura office. Rasmussen & Associates is a mid-sized independent firm with over 50 years of history within the greater Ventura County area. Our professional focus is on healthcare, institutional, industrial, commercial projects, and corporate work spaces. We are currently seeking talented and motivated professionals who work well in a collaborative team structure.

Roles & Responsibilities :

Lead team and client through programming & design through construction administration on a variety of project types.

Overseeing production work throughout all project phases.

Leading the technical design aspects on a variety of projects

Coordinate with consultants and assist the Project Manager in client and agency coordination.

Mentoring junior staff on technical aspects of the profession

Assisting Project Managers in developing contract / proposal tasks and budgets.

Educations / Experience

Bachelors degree (B.A.) or Bachelors of Architecture (B.Arch) from college or university.

5+ years of relevant experience

Professional Architectural License (CA) preferred

Expertise in all phases of the design, documentation and construction administration processes.

Flexible to play multiple roles across varied project types.

Experience with HCAI / OSHPD-3 / OSHPD-1 construction / design process, preferred

Excellent architectural detailing skills

Excellent management, organizational, negotiation, communication and decision making skills, and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal

Working knowledge of REVIT and AutoCAD

Intermediate MS Office application skills

Knowledge of federal, state and local building administrative codes relating to building projects

Lifelong learner eager to share knowledge and mentor team members

Pay : $83,381.98 - $100,417.01 per year
