We are an Early Intervention Agency that work with children ages 2-3 years old who have been diagnozed with autism.
Our current job oppening is for a Child Daycare Manager / Supervisor who will oversee the daily operations of the childcare center, ensuring a safe, nurturing, and educational environment for children. This role includes supervising staff, managing administrative tasks, ensuring compliance with licensing requirements, and maintaining positive relationships with parents and families.
Key Responsibilities :
- Supervise, support, and evaluate daycare staff including teachers and assistants.
- Ensure daily compliance with local, state, and federal childcare regulations.
- Develop and maintain schedules, lesson plans, and age-appropriate activities.
- Maintain accurate records of children, staff, incidents, and center operations.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding their childs progress and any concerns.
- Monitor classroom environments to ensure health, safety, and cleanliness standards are met.
- Assist with hiring, training, and professional development of staff.
- Handle conflict resolution among staff or with parents in a professional manner.
- Coordinate with external agencies and regulators for inspections and licensing.
- Oversee budget management, supplies, and facility needs.
Qualifications :
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or related field (preferred).
- Valid CPR / First Aid Certification.
- Minimum [2-5] years of experience in a childcare setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
- Knowledge of child development principles and childcare regulations.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure and handle emergencies effectively.
Work Environment :
- Fast-paced, indoor and outdoor childcare setting.
- Interaction with children, parents, staff, and occasionally licensing authorities.
