Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

The Claiborne at Baton Rouge has an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse 12 hour night shifts and is offering competitive pay with great benefits.

LPN Duties:

• Reports to the Wellness Director
• Responsible for providing clinical leadership and nursing care to meet the needs of the residents
• Provides direct oversight to direct care staff and ensures completion of talks
• Provides direct care and assists PSAs and CNAs as required
• Charts on residents, manages and administers medication
• Performs other duties consistent with position as assigned

LPN Qualifications:

• Must have current license as an LPN in the state of employment
• Two years of experience in Assisted Living or Dementia Care (preferred)
• CPR and First Aid certification
• Experience working with an electronic health record system
