Job descriptionRapidly growing pediatric department in a new pediatric residency program Fellowship-trained in Neurology with Special Qualification in Child Neurology is preferred. Focus on providing care for both pediatric inpatient consults and ambulatory outpatient service Candidates must have exemplary clinical skills and a strong interest in teaching Role includes resident and medical student education Best suited for candidates who are at the assistant or associate professor level, but all ranks will be considered Opportunity for EEG and sleep study interpretation is also available Serving patients from a large geographic region of over 20 counties Vast primary care referral network to support this position Opportunity to teach, treat and lead positive change throughout the region Time allocations for research and academic pursuits Excellent compensation package based on MGMA private practice benchmarks (with incentive opportunity). Commencement bonus Relocation assistance Excellent benefits package CME allowance with (5) five days Malpractice / liability License(s) expense Four (4) weeks of PTO

Location : Central portion of Michigan’s Lower Peninsula and is part of the Great Lakes Bay Region.

- Specialized Pediatric Emergency Care Center
- 55 bed Regional Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (Level III), staffed 24 hours by neonatologists
- 10 bed Pediatric Intensive Care Unit, staffed 24 / 7 by Pediatric Intensivists
- Dedicated Pediatric Sedation Service for neurodiagnostic studies
- Patient and Family Centered Care
- Child Life Specialists
- Center for Autism
