Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time Physical Therapist position offers the opportunity to provide essential healthcare services within a K-12 school setting in West Covina, CA. This contract role is designed for professionals passionate about supporting the physical development and well-being of students throughout the academic year.
Responsibilities include evaluating, planning, and implementing physical therapy treatments tailored to the needs of students. Collaborate directly with educators, school staff, and families to ensure prehensive care and support. Monitor progress and adjust therapy plans as necessary to promote improved physical function and participation in daily school activities.
Qualified candidates will have experience as a Physical Therapist (PT) or Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) in healthcare or school environments. Familiarity with K-12 school settings and pediatric populations is highly valued. Strong munication skills and the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team are essential.
