Travel Nurse Job Details

Assignment Type : Travel Registered Nurse Contract

Location : Las Cruces, NM 88011 (New Mexico healthcare jobs)

Start Date : December 1, 2025

End Date : March 2, 2026

Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : 12-hour day shifts (6 : 30 AM – 7 : 00 PM), Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday

Hours per Week : 36

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1780–$1910

Call : Required; shared among Operating Room nurses for 24 / 7 coverage

Holidays : Required as scheduled

Scrubs : Provided and laundered by hospital

EMR System : PICIS

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active, unencumbered RN license (Registered Nurse – New Mexico or compact state)

Minimum 2 years of recent Operating Room RN experience

BLS certification required (American Heart Association)

ACLS certification preferred

Ability to participate in call rotation and work holidays as needed

Must complete New Mexico fingerprinting process (may take several weeks)

Experience with surgical workflow coordination and sterile field support

Operating Room Nurse Responsibilities

Serve as circulating nurse in the Operating Room, ensuring patient safety and supporting the surgical team

Accurately document patient care and surgical procedures in the EMR

Coordinate workflow and maintain sterile field during surgeries

Participate in call rotation and provide coverage as needed

Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to deliver high-quality patient care

Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards
