Responsibilities

  • As a Lead Solution Architect within the Data & AI Practice, leverage a client-centric approach to understand challenges and opportunities to deliver solutions and services that drive transformative change and high-value business outcomes. Engage in solutioning and support on strategic opportunities, intervene in high-risk complex deliveries, and shape the strategic direction using data platforms, reporting, self-service analytics, real-time intelligence and AI engineering.
  • Use modern data platforms, visualizations, advanced analytics, machine learning, IoT / Digital Twins and applied intelligence to help clients gain insights, optimize operations, drive innovation and enable informed decisions.
  • Engage in sales and business development opportunities with clients, shape high-level design, estimates and contractual details for proposals in collaboration with subject matter experts.
  • Provide coaching and mentoring as a senior member of the technical community to motivate junior colleagues and share expertise across the organization.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into audience-appropriate language and value-based outcomes for senior business stakeholders, technology leaders and internal sales teams.
  • Lead early client conversations, support deal origination, requirements capture and solutioning, recommend best practices, and build strong client relationships as a trusted advisor.
  • Collaborate with Data & AI leadership to shape current and future offerings, accelerators and background IP to support GTM activities.
  • Drive the evolution of best practices and methodologies for AI development, including data management, model training, fine-tuning and deployment.
  • Lead the development of data and analytics platforms, real-time intelligence and reporting solutions using Python, SQL, Microsoft Azure Data Services, Fabric and Databricks.
  • Stay abreast of the latest advancements in Data and AI technologies and incorporate relevant innovations into solutions.
  • Identify relevant cross-industry, scalable solutions (Data Migration, Automation Migration, Visualization / Reporting, Core Data Platform Modernization and Governance) for your region and execute on them.
  • Drive measurable and sustained growth across the Data & AI Solution Area and integrate Data & AI with other Global Solution Areas, offerings and go-to-market initiatives.
  • Support and drive managed services and multi-year engagements for Data & AI.

Qualifications and Characteristics

  • Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft and Databricks; experience in Data, Applied Intelligence, Automation, IoT and related technologies.
  • Awareness of channels to market and how to work in a Microsoft and partner ecosystem to ensure Customer Success; high energy with a passion to help clients understand the fast-moving AI industry, product and service evolution.
  • Experience creating technical visions, high-level architectures and delivery roadmaps for large programs involving the latest AI concepts, especially focused on scaling AI across enterprises.
  • Deep understanding of responsible data platforms, migration principles, regulatory frameworks and ability to address risks while delivering impactful solutions.
  • Ability to create design artifacts and present them for approval at architectural forums with multi-disciplinary stakeholders from engineering to C-level executives.
  • Strong knowledge of modern Data & AI capabilities (structured / unstructured data analysis, streaming data, IoT, AI, GenAI and related analytics).
  • Experience designing and delivering large-scale Data Platform solutions using Lakehouse, Data Mesh, Fabric, Cloud Scale Analytics, etc., with attention to performance, security and reliability.
  • Comfortable actively engaging and leading sales and business development with clients.
