South Kingstown High School is a grade 9-12 comprehensive high school serving over 900 Summary : The Head Coach is responsible for coaching the Boys Indoor Track program. The position also requires duties such as : Supervising athletes during practices and competitionSupervise and monitor Assistant CoachesInstructing players in the rules regulations equipment and techniques of the and direct individual and small group practice game the equipment in orderly condition and assume responsibility for its behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards players officials and spectatorsFollows established procedures in the event of an athletes injuryModels nondiscriminatory practices in all activitiesTraveling to and from away contestsParticipates in special activities to include parents night banquets award nights staff development meetings clinics and other professional activities to improvecoaching any other related duties as assigned by the Athletic Director or other appropriate : 1-3 years of Head Coaching Boys Indoor Track experience at the High School level knowledge of the sport is paramount. Successfully complete any additional courses assigned by the RIIL / RIPCOA. New coaching hires must complete all courses within six (6) months of date of Head Boys Indoor Track Coach is required to abide by the RIIL / RIPCOA rules and abide by and assist in implementing and enforcing all policies of the South Kingstown School District and the Athletic Administration.
