Production Supervisor

Dalton Corporation’s Warsaw facility is a gray iron foundry specializing in larger, highly complex parts with tight tolerance requirements ranging from 20-900 pounds. About the Role

Oversee all aspects of production and repairs in the Pattern shop. Knowledge of gating patterns, pattern and core box technology, and knowledge of scrap defects and causes. Experience in greensand and molding, training in defect analysis, statistical process control, gating and risering. Experience gating patterns and working on scrap. Ability to read, analyze, and interpret documents, such as QCL’s, MSDS sheets, and other related documents. Ability to respond to common inquiries from other employees or supervisors.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

• Direct the activities of the Pattern Shop employees
• Tooling repairs
• Maintain pattern wear program
• Maintain records related to Pattern Shop activities
• Budget department
