Overview

MATERIAL PUT AWAY ASSOCIATE FOR THE WAREHOUSE, FIRST SHIFT (Mon- Fri, 5 : 00 AM - 1 : 30 PM)- $20.00 AN HOUR

Responsibilities

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

Must be dependable and detail-oriented. Support the materials and operations team.

  • Moving, organizing, and storing incoming materials or products in a warehouse or production environment.
  • Transport and store materials
  • Move items from receiving areas to designated storage locations (using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment).
  • Follow warehouse layout and slotting systems to optimize storage space.
  • Maintain organization of storage areas
  • Ensure materials are properly stacked, accessible, and safely stored.
  • Rotate stock as needed (FIFO / LIFO methods).
  • Update inventory records as needed
  • Record movements and ensure inventory accuracy.
  • Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.
  • Qualifications

    WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM

    To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be a team player and able to make decisions. The additional requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.

  • High school diploma or equivalent on the job experience
  • Basic math skills required
  • Minimum 1 year in stockroom or Shipping / receiving operations in warehouse environment, pick and pull.
  • Experience with Material Requisition Planner (MRP) or other computerized inventory systems.
  • Time management : ability to multitask, prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced environment & make timely decisions to keep up with production demands while focusing on details and accuracy.
