Responsibilities
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Must be dependable and detail-oriented. Support the materials and operations team.
Moving, organizing, and storing incoming materials or products in a warehouse or production environment.Transport and store materialsMove items from receiving areas to designated storage locations (using forklifts, pallet jacks, or other equipment).Follow warehouse layout and slotting systems to optimize storage space.Maintain organization of storage areasEnsure materials are properly stacked, accessible, and safely stored.Rotate stock as needed (FIFO / LIFO methods).Update inventory records as neededRecord movements and ensure inventory accuracy.Assist with cycle counts and inventory audits.Qualifications
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM
To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be a team player and able to make decisions. The additional requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and / or ability required.
High school diploma or equivalent on the job experienceBasic math skills requiredMinimum 1 year in stockroom or Shipping / receiving operations in warehouse environment, pick and pull.Experience with Material Requisition Planner (MRP) or other computerized inventory systems.Time management : ability to multitask, prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced environment & make timely decisions to keep up with production demands while focusing on details and accuracy.Fluent in English
