Job Title :  Registered Nurse - Antepartum

\nLocation (Onsite, Remote, or Hybrid?) : Seattle, WA (ONSITE)

\nContract Duration : 13 weeks

\nWorking Hours :  Night 3x12-Hour (19 : 00 - 07 : 30)

\nTotal Weekly Hours : 36 hrs \n\n \n\nMinimum experience required-2 years. Screen for less than 2 years or no experience with C-Sections. SCREEN IF INTERMEDIATE AWHONN ONLY For manager Approval

\n

\nFloat required to Postpartum unit.

\n

\nHigh Risk Antepartum- 6 weeks to 41 weeks

\nPTL, previa, preeclampsia, diabetes, hypertension, prom, twins, substance use disorder in pregnancy.

\nCare of fetal demise or loss of patients both antepartum and postpartum, postpartum mother with baby in NICU, no newborns on this unit.

\n

\nUnit Details :

\n- Support of amnio or sterile spec exam at the bedside

\n- PCA Pumps

\n- PICC / Central Lines, Syringe Pumps

\n- Heparin, Insulin, Magnesium Sulfate

\n

\nscrub requirements : any color – but when floated to the L&D units scrubs are provided

\n

\nCertifications :

\n- AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP (REQUIRED)

\n- ACLS (PREFERRED)

\n

\nSKILLS

\n

\nWork Setting :

\n- High Risk Antepartum

\n

\nAntepartum Care and Procedures :

\n- Assist with sterile speculum exam (effacement, dilation, station, presentation)

\n

\nIV Therapy / Phlebotomy :

\n- Maintain central lines (CVC / PICC)

\n

\nMedication & Administration :

\n- Anticoagulants, Insulin drips, Magnesium Sulfate therapy

\n

\nLabor and Delivery Management :

\nCirculate for C-section
