Ayuda is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to providing direct legal, social and language access services, education, and outreach to low-income immigrants in the Washington, DC metropolitan area. Since 1973, Ayuda has provided critical services on a wide range of issues, in the process acquiring nationally recognized expertise in several fields including immigration law, language access, domestic violence and human trafficking. Ayuda has office locations in Washington, DC, Silver Spring, MD and Fairfax, VA.

WHAT WILL THIS JOB ENTAIL?
Core responsibilities of the position include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide individual, family and / or group therapy; services provided to assigned office siteConduct client intakes and safety planning, assess client needs, and develop individualized service and treatment plansProvide clinical recommendations and advocacy in the best interests of the clientParticipate in regularly scheduled clinical supervision with other Ayuda clinician(s)Document services provided, collect and maintain required information for specific funding reportingCollaborate with?Ayuda's?legal department to provide holistic services to clientsProvide written documentation supporting client's immigration case such as psychological evaluations or letters of supportAssist in conducting internal and external training as neededEnsure Ayuda representation at local coalition meetings and participate in advocacy initiativesCompletes duties as assigned by Director of Social Services to meet the demands facing immigrant communities.Direct Reports : None / Interns Only.Requirements

Eligibility :
Must be legally able to work in the United States and maintain proper work authorization throughout employment.Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position presented in a general office environment.Required Education / Experience :
Master's degree or higher in the social services related field (Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, etc.)Licensed Therapist in Maryland or DC (see below)Maryland : LGPC, LMSW, LCSW-CDC : LGSW, LGPC, LICSW, LCPCFluent in English and SpanishKnowledge of social services within the DC, Maryland and Northern Virginia area, specifically those for immigrantsPreferred Qualifications / Knowledge and Skills :
Licensed Therapist in Maryland AND DC (see below)Maryland : LCPC, LCSW-CDC : LPC, LICSWExperience working with immigrant survivors of traumaDesire to work with interdisciplinary team in representing the best interest of clientExcellent verbal and written communication skillsOutstanding interpersonal skillsExcellent time-management and organizational skillsAdaptable to shifting priorities and working in different officesDemonstrated capacity to work independently and collaborativelySALARY AND BENEFITS :
The anticipated salary for this position is $66,300 - $82,400 depending on experience.
