Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in family law matters, including divorce, child custody, and immigration issues. This role requires excellent legal knowledge and the ability to represent clients effectively while providing compassionate guidance through challenging situations.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in family law cases including divorce, child custody, and domestic violence matters.
- Draft legal documents such as petitions, motions, and settlement agreements.
- Advise clients on their legal rights and responsibilities in family law cases.
- Negotiate settlements and advocate for clients in court hearings and trials.
- Conduct legal research and stay updated on changes in family law and immigration regulations.
- Collaborate with social workers, therapists, and other professionals to support clients' needs.
Qualifications
- Jurisdiction-specific bar admission and active license to practice law.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in family law practice.
- Strong knowledge of family law, divorce proceedings, child custody issues, and immigration matters.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Empathy and the ability to handle sensitive cases with care.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
