Job Description

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Job Specialty : Infusion

Job Duration : 13 weeks

Shift : Day, 5x8-Hour (08 : 00 - 16 : 30)

Guaranteed Hours : 40 hours per week

Experience : Minimum of 2 years RN experience required

License : West Virginia or Compact License - Pending license acceptable

Certifications : BLS (Basic Life Support) required

Must-Have : Candidates must have a permanent address greater than 100 miles from the facility. No prior license suspensions allowed; probations considered on a case-by-case basis. Flu vaccine required - medical exemptions only.

Job Description :

• Orientation every other Thursday for Registered Nurses.
• Daily caseload of 70 with a patient ratio experience of 1 : 4.
• Required skills : CBCT / kV / mV imaging, Treatment - External Beam Therapy, IMRT - Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy, Prophylactic Treatments, General Radiation Safety.
• Preferred skills : Infusion center experience, Inpatient & Outpatient Oncology experience.
• First-time travelers are accepted.
• No on-call requirements.
• No floating to meet facility needs or to sister facilities.
• Modules are completed prior to start and vary by specialty.
• Full compliance documentation due the Monday prior to start.
• Candidates must be willing to take the flu vaccine unless a medical allergy is documented by a physician.
