Key Responsibilities of the RN – Operating Room :

Prepare operating rooms and ensure equipment is properly sterilized and functioning.

Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures.

Assist surgeons by anticipating instrument and supply needs during surgery.

Monitor patient status and vital signs throughout procedures.

Maintain strict adherence to infection control and safety standards.

Document patient care accurately and collaborate with the surgical team.

Requirements :

Active RN license in Oklahoma (or compact state eligibility).

Minimum of 1–2 years recent Operating Room nursing experience.

Current BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and OR protocols.

Excellent teamwork, communication, and critical-thinking skills.
