Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor and Delivery position at a Level III high-risk facility requiring an active NJ or compact RN license and strong L&D skills.

Responsibilities

  • Work in the Labor and Delivery and High Risk Obstetric (HROB) units of a Level III high-risk facility
  • Expected to float to five hospitals within skillset, including Voorhees, Marlton, Mt. Holly, Willingboro, and OLOL
  • HROB includes 16 rooms caring for early inductions, antepartum, and continuous monitoring patients
  • Day shift position with 12-hour shifts from 7 : 00 to 19 : 00
  • Uses Epic EMR, experience preferred
  • Scrubs provided by the hospital
  • Required to work every other weekend and every other holiday
  • Block scheduling is not allowed
  • Primary responsibilities include caring for labor and delivery and high-risk obstetric patients, including those on continuous monitoring and early induction
  • Travelers must float within five hospitals based on census and staffing needs
  • First-time travelers will be considered for this position
  • Fit testing required prior to unit assignment; must be clean shaven for mask compliance
  • No RTO within first week of start; RTO submitted after acceptance will not be honored
  • Travelers with 4 days or less of RTO will be prioritized
  • Individuals living within 50 miles of the primary facility will be eligible at a local pay rate

    • Requirements

  • Active NJ or compact RN license required at time of consideration
  • Minimum of 3 years of recent Labor and Delivery RN experience
  • Current certifications required : BLS, ACLS, NRP
  • Experience within the specialty must be within the last 12 months
  • Epic charting experience preferred
  • Must pass a dysrhythmia test within 72 hours of signing contract, with only 2 attempts allowed and test to be taken on a PC
  • Must provide proof of COVID-19 and flu vaccination; no exemptions accepted
  • Must complete required labs within 48 hours of signing
