Georgia Medical staffing is in need of a PT to provide interim coverage to an employee / family based clinic in Seymour, IN.

Details :

Nov 26- Dec 26 (possiblity to extend)

M, T, W & F - 8a-5p (No Thursdays)

Treating employees / spouses and dependents, 3 and over

Clinic staffed with 2 FTE APP's, 1 PT MD; 1 MA

Occ Health Services (some), Wellness programs, Physicals, Well Women

PT responsibilities :

Prevent the onset, symptoms, and progression of impairments, functional limitations, and disabilities that may result from diseases, disorders, conditions, or injuries

Plan, prepare and perform individually designed treatment programs

Efficiently identify and document goals, anticipated progress and plans for patient re-evaluation.The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing physical therapy services with a focus around work-related injuries and risk factors, as well as an emphasis placed on health and wellness and preventative care.

Diagnose and manage movement dysfunction and enhance physical and functional abilities

Restore, maintain, and promote not only optimal physical function but optimal wellness and fitness and optimal quality of life as it relates to movement and health

$60 per hour

Paid malpractice, shadow training and module training

Requirements :

Minimum 2 years’ experience in out-patient / general orthopedic physical therapy

Must be licensed as a Physical Therapist

Manual therapy training and orthopedic skills are preferred for this unique position
