Entry Level Systems Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated Systems Engineer to join Sonatech LLC in Santa Barbara, California.

Job Description

This position is an opportunity to shape new products from scratch and improve existing ones. The candidate will work closely with customers to develop system concepts, technical requirements, and product specifications. Following, the candidate oversees systems design throughout the development lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Architecture development, interface definition, system modelling, algorithm development, data analysis, and trade studies
• Provide technical leadership throughout the development lifecycle
• Progress reporting to management and customer representatives
• Support systems integration and customer trial activities
• Generation of technical requirements and specifications, requirement management, compliance traceability and verification
• Provide technical directions to subject matter experts including mechanical, electrical, software transducer and signal processing engineers
