Griffin Hospital's emergency department is designed for optimal efficiency - identically configured and equipped to accommodate all levels of care. We are currently seeking a full-time nocturnist EM physician, with part-time and PRN opportunities also available. Emergency Department Overview

• Hospital beds : 160
• 22 private ED beds
• 3 dedicated behavioral health crisis intervention rooms
• Brand new Emergency Psychiatric Assessment, Treatment and Healing  (EmPATH) unit
• Annual ED volume : 35,000
• Coverage : 36 hours of EM physician coverage daily (9 and 10-hour shifts)
• 20 hours of EM APC coverage daily
• Teaching responsibilities for medical students, PA students, and internal medicine residents
• Collaborative hospitalist program
• EMR : Meditech Expanse with Ambient AI scribe and Dragon
• Griffin ED was awarded Department of the Year for 2025
