Job description

The ASM Team Lead is a key role supporting the overall ASM team. This role is pivotal in providing daily support to the team as well as to the sponsor’s leadership and customers.

We are currently seeking a Manager, Clinical Supplies to join our diverse and dynamic team. As a Manager, Clinical Supplies at ICON, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the management and distribution of clinical trial materials, ensuring timely delivery and compliance with regulatory standards. You will contribute to the success of clinical research by optimizing supply chain processes and enhancing operational efficiency.

What You Will Be Doing :

Responsible for managing personnel including workload assignments & transitions

Provides ongoing day to day oversight & support of operational activities ensuring that personnel complete assigned tasks and responsibilities accurately and timely

Works to ensure that all projects and work activities are properly staffed and managed to satisfaction of sponsor business leaders.

Coordinates the onboarding, orientation, and training for new staff.

Coordinates staffing adjustments and work transitions as needed.

Ensures personnel comply with sponsor SOP’s and process documentation.

Assists team in performing process inquiries and process assessments to address issues and inefficiencies.

Acts as first point of contact for study issues and process issues and escalates as required

Anticipates, recognizes, and leads, ASM team members in support of resolutions to business issues & needs

Informs Sponsor leadership of performance issues as needed.

Liaises with study managers, program managers and country contacts as needed in support of study management and overall processes.

Works with functional partners and outside vendors to address needs.

May lead, manage and / or participate in oversight of process improvement projects and special business assignments as agree with sponsor.

Your Profile :

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, preferably in a scientific or pharmaceutical discipline.

Extensive experience in managing clinical supplies or related operations, with a thorough understanding of regulatory requirements and industry standards.

Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proficiency in inventory management systems and supply chain methodologies, with a focus on optimizing processes.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to influence stakeholders and drive successful outcomes.
