Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A K-12 school in Lakeview, MI is seeking a qualified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide maternity leave coverage from January through March. This contract position offers an excellent opportunity to support students' communication needs during a temporary leave period.

Key Qualifications :

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC)
  • Valid School SLP certification
  • Experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Ability to assess, plan, and implement therapy tailored to individual student needs
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with educators, parents, and administrators

Responsibilities :

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings for students
  • Develop and implement individualized speech therapy plans
  • Monitor and document student progress regularly
  • Consult with teachers and staff regarding student needs and strategies
  • Maintain accurate records and comply with school policies and procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student success

    Duration : January through March (Maternity leave coverage contract)

    This role is ideal for a licensed SLP looking for short-term school-based experience and meaningful impact with pediatric clients.
