Position : Certified Welder

Location : Metairie, LA

Company : United Trades of America

United Trades of America is looking for certified welders to join our team in Metairie, LA. If you're a skilled professional with experience in advanced welding techniques, we want to hear from you!

Job Responsibilities :

Employ welding processes (SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, FCAW) to fuse various metals accurately.
Operate and manage machines for manufacturing and repairing metal structures, tools, and equipment.
Read and interpret blueprints, calculating welding dimensions with precision.
Test welded surfaces to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
Perform additional duties such as cutting, soldering, or brazing as needed.

Qualifications :

Certification in welding (AWS or equivalent).

Experience with SMAW, GMAW, GTAW, and FCAW welding processes.

Ability to read blueprints and calculate welding dimensions.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Must be located in or willing to commute to Metairie, LA.
