We are looking for a detail-oriented Buyer to join our team in Katy, Texas. This position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to procurement operations within the utilities and infrastructure industry. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in vendor management, fleet procurement, and electronic purchasing platforms.

Responsibilities :

• Issue corporate purchase orders and ensure they align with company policies.
• Facilitate the setup of new vendors and maintain accurate vendor master data.
• Collaborate with internal teams to handle procurement tasks effectively, including fleet management.
• Utilize e-procurement systems to streamline purchasing processes.
• Conduct regular reviews of vendor contracts and negotiate favorable terms.
• Prepare and analyze procurement-related reports using tools such as Excel.
• Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and organizational standards.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement strategies to optimize purchasing efficiency.
• Provide support during audits and resolve discrepancies in procurement records.
• Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in procurement or purchasing roles.
• Proficiency in NetSuite and other e-procurement tools.
• Strong understanding of vendor management and fleet procurement processes.
• Ability to work with Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Familiarity with procurement regulations and compliance standards.
• Experience in utilities or infrastructure industry is preferred.
