Job Description :

BigRio is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA Engineer with a strong background in WebUI testing and automation using WebdriverIO . The ideal candidate will be passionate about ensuring software quality and possess experience working in agile, fast-paced environments. You will play a key role in our QA team, designing and executing test strategies for modern web applications.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, develop, and execute automated test scripts using WebdriverIO
  • Perform functional, regression, and UI testing across web-based applications
  • Collaborate closely with developers, product owners, and other QA engineers to ensure test coverage and quality standards
  • Develop and maintain robust test automation frameworks
  • Identify, document, and track bugs using test management and issue tracking tools
  • Review product requirements and technical documentation to write effective test cases
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes and best practices

Required Skills & Experience :

  • 3+ years of experience in QA with a focus on WebUI automation testing
  • Strong hands-on experience with WebdriverIO and related automation frameworks
  • Proficient in JavaScript / TypeScript for test automation
  • Familiarity with CI / CD pipelines and integration of automated tests
  • Experience in working with tools like Jenkins, Git, JIRA, and test management tools
  • Solid understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Nice to Have :

  • Experience with other testing tools like Selenium, Cypress, or Playwright
  • Knowledge of BDD tools like Cucumber
  • Exposure to cloud-based test execution platforms (e.g., BrowserStack, Sauce Labs)
