Job description

Import-Export Clerical Support

Our client, a leader in international trade and logistics, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Import-Export Clerical Support professional to join their team. As part of the Trade Compliance and Logistics departments, you will play a vital role in ensuring smooth import and export operations, maintaining compliance with all relevant regulations, and supporting the overall efficiency of the supply chain.

Location : Laporte, IN

Shift : 8am-4pm

What's the Job?

  • Organize, file, and maintain import and export records in accordance with company policy and U.S. Customs regulations.
  • Conduct routine audits of shipping and customs documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Prepare, update, and maintain data in Excel spreadsheets, Microsoft Access databases, and other company systems.
  • Support document retrieval for internal and external audits.
  • Assist with tracking shipments and maintaining shipment logs as needed.

What's Needed?

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associates degree preferred.
  • 2+ years of clerical, administrative, or data management experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Access required.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
