Overview of Position : Support Staff are responsible for delivering services and experiences to our guests aligned to a culture of excellence. Successful candidates will demonstrate a love and passion for the mountain and a strong desire to help the program succeed so children learn to love skiing and snowboarding.
Job Duties :
- Support the programming check-in and check out process by providing accurate information to guests while facilitating a friendly and efficient process.
- Support ski and snowboard instructors by providing individual attention to children who require extra motivation and encouragement to participate in programming.
- Ensure outdoor facilities are set up and maintained consistently to facilitate efficient meeting and learning areas.
- Maintain outdoor facilities to be free from outdoor hazards such as ice, mud, or equipment that may be problematic and report it to a supervisor for attention if unable to maintain it individually.
- Ensure rental procedures are followed consistently for safe and efficient delivery and return of equipment.
- Monitor outdoor learning areas to support instructors with tasks including rental equipment exchanges, children that need the restroom, learning aids or features that need maintenance, and other related duties.
- Monitor children who are unwell, tired, or not participating and contact parents as appropriate.
- Assist with prepping, serving, and cleaning up lunch, snacks, and drinks. No cooking is required.
Work Schedule and Conditions : Part-time and full-time positions available. Traditionally our busy periods are during weekends and holidays which team members will be expected to work. Team members may also be asked to work extra hours or days on occasion, especially during the holidays.
