We're interviewing now at our Cardiff by the Sea, CA facility! Looking for a client-focused Clinical Support Technician, who has knowledge of mental health and substance abuse clientele!
We are seeking to fill a Part-Time Clinical Support Technician position.
General Summary :
The Clinical Support Technician fulfills the assigned role as part of the treatment team to maintain the wellbeing of clients and the integrity of the program. Additionally, the Clinical Support Technician provides client supervision and staff / unit support as assigned.
Responsibilities :
Develop and maintain appropriate professional relationships with clients and staff
Supervise U / A testing, reporting and documentation
Supports clients emotionally and environmentally for comfort and safety
Facilitate outings, and educational sessions
Transport clients to meetings and appointments
Conduct contraband searches and random room searches
Listens, documents, and reports client behavior
Maintains confidentiality of clients at all time
Provides encouragement, guidance and support to clients and family members
Completes required intake paperwork
Provides crisis intervention and encourages a healthy residential and working environment
Communicates and collaborates with co-workers, clinical staff, and administration in order to deliver the best quality care possible.
Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
CPR & First Aid certification
Current CADC or RADT registration or equivalent
Valid California Driver's License
Must be able to passBackground Check
Negative TB Test
Must understand therapeutic process, confidentiality laws, professional ethics, fundamentals of addiction, and mental health disabilities and treatment
Must be willing to work overtime, weekends and holidays if needed
