  • Location : Nacogdoches, TX 75965 (Texas nursing jobs)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 11 / 2025 – End : 2 / 11 / 2026)\n
  • Healthcare Setting : Medical-Surgical Units (2nd and 3rd Floor)\n
  • Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00 PM – 7 : 30 AM)\n
  • Guaranteed Hours : 36 hours per week\n
  • Weekend Requirement : Every other weekend\n
  • Float Requirement : Float within skillset as needed\n
  • Charting System : Cerner\n
  • Scrub Color : Navy blue\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary : $1470 - $1570\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Texas or compact state\n
  • Minimum 1 year of recent Med / Surg RN experience (travel nursing experience preferred)\n
  • BLS certification (required)\n
  • Experience with Cerner electronic health records preferred\n
  • Ability to float to other hospital units as needed\n
  • Excellent communication, clinical, and teamwork skills\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Deliver high-quality nursing care to adult patients with diagnoses such as CHF, pneumonia, sepsis, cardiac conditions, ESRD, post-op bariatrics, orthopedics, ENT, and general surgery\n
  • Monitor, assess, and document patient status and progress in the Cerner system\n
  • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders\n
  • Collaborate with physicians, interdisciplinary healthcare teams, and support staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and compliant documentation\n
  • Float to other medical-surgical or clinical units as required\n
  • Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety protocols\n
