Cloud Backend Engineer

Description

Vision Point Systems is recruiting for a Cloud Backend Engineer to design build and maintain backend services APIs and cloud infrastructure that power corrosion analysis and lab applications ensuring reliability scalability and secure integrations. Duties include but are not limited to :

• Design and implement backend services and APIs for web and desktop application
• Own job orchestration and workflows :
• Long-running analysis jobs
• Queuing scheduling status tracking
• Ensure system reliability performance and security :
• Robust error handling and logging
• Performance optimizing and scalability planning
• Secure handling of files models
• Integrate with external services and tools :
• Analysis microservices (dockerized workflows)
• simulation / solver tools
• Authentication systems
• Collaborate with frontend developers and data / ML teams :
• Define API contracts
• Support new features
• Improve developer experience and internal tools
