Commercial Lines Account Manager
Bravera Insurance is looking for a Commercial Lines Account Manager in Dickinson, ND. This customer service position is responsible for all aspects of client account servicing. An Account Manager owns the Bravera Insurance client relationship by providing day to day service and coverage solutions that meet our client's needs and expectations.
Measures of success include being a trusted advisor to Bravera Insurance clients, offering exceptional customer service, and supporting the sales function of Bravera Insurance.
Duties and responsibilities include informing and educating clients about coverages, exclusions and exposures to create an insurance plan tailored for them, assisting clients in making appropriate coverage changes, maintaining agency electronic files accurately and consistently, providing technical support to Insurance Advisors, performing online rating with companies or submitting to carriers for rating, following agency workflows and procedures, reporting and assisting clients in submission of claims to carrier, responsible for coverage analysis, renewal review and re-marketing, actively referring clients to other departments for solicitation, keeping current on carriers, product knowledge and trends in the marketplace, working as a team with other service associates, assisting in the training and mentoring of new staff, utilizing 3rd party insurance products, assisting or completing other tasks as directed by agency management, and responsible for promoting the organization in the community through participation in various civic and community events, activities, committees, and organizations.
Qualifications include a valid resident insurance license within 90 days of accepting position, a bachelor's degree in accounting, business administration, or other related field, minimum three years related experience or an acceptable combination of education and experience, ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ever-changing priorities, PC proficiency in a windows environment required, including Word, Excel and Outlook, proficiency in keyboarding, professional communication both verbally and written, and will be required to drive a company vehicle with some overnight travel required. Must maintain a clear driving record in order to maintain coverage under Bravera's vehicle insurance provider.
