What You Will Do :
- Offers technical assistance to field engineers, technicians, and product support teams engaged in diagnosing, troubleshooting, repairing, and debugging intricate electro-mechanical devices, computer systems, and complex software that is associated with information technology.
- Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Plans schedules and arranges own activities to accomplish objectives.
- Conducts technical analysis of product implementations, modifications and enhancements to product in accordance with customer specifications.
- Engages with senior personnel both within and outside the organization in their area of expertise, acting as the primary representative on contracts or projects.
- Develops solutions to complex problems, demonstrating good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Provides second-line product support, troubleshooting technical problems, determining technical solutions and recommending actions to company or customer representatives.
- Participates in planning and preparing customer installation and training, including approval and validation of product support documentation and on-site installation drawings.
- Reports design, reliability and maintenance problems to design engineering / software engineering.
- Serves as company liaison with customer on administrative and technical matters for assigned projects.
- Applies knowledge of Information Assurance concepts, practices and procedures within the network environment.
- Willing to work first shift, be available for calls as needed, and occasionally exceed 40 hours per week.
- Willing to travel for extended periods of time and to relocate.
Qualifications You Must Have :
Typically requires a STEM degree and minimum 5 years of relevant experience, or an advanced degree in a related field with minimum 3 years of experience.Experience operating mission support equipment installed on a U.S. Air Force E-4B aircraft.Qualifications We Prefer :
IA (Information Assurance) Certification such as GSEC, SCNP, SSCP or Security+.Benefits :
