Facilities Manager

Job Description

Key Responsibilities :

• Oversee the daily functioning, upkeep, and reliability of all facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, mechanical, and utility services.
• Create and manage a robust maintenance program (including preventive and predictive tasks) to ensure maximum equipment availability and reduce interruptions.
• Provide direct leadership, guidance, and task assignment to the maintenance technician team, focusing on their professional development and performance.
• Use engineering-based problem-solving and methodologies like Lean and Six Sigma to analyze and improve operational and maintenance processes.
• Perform detailed investigations into equipment failures to identify the fundamental cause and implement lasting solutions.
• Guarantee the facility meets all requirements set by OSHA, EPA, and other relevant health, safety, and environmental agencies.
• Control the department's finances, including preparing the budget, managing costs for labor and materials, and overseeing vendor agreements.
• Lead facility improvement initiatives and equipment installation projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within the allocated budget.
