About the Clinician's Workday

The schedule includes clinic Monday through Thursday from 9 : 30 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Friday from 9 : 30 a.m. to 2 : 30 p.m. Responsibilities include hospital rounding, consults, procedures, and ED call coverage, averaging 2-5 consults daily. Procedures involve left and right heart catheterizations, AICD / pacemaker insertions and generator changes, and TEEs, with certification in pacemakers and AICDs required. The hospital uses Cerner EMR, while the cath lab operates on Change Healthcare.
