About the Women & Children Program
The Women & Children program is a voluntary, collaborative program that strives to empower women to build resources and personal skills to break the barriers that come with addiction as individuals, family members, and members of their local community. This program offers residential treatment, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, day care services for children under 12, individual and group therapy, case management, peer support services, psychiatry and medicated assisted treatment.
What You'll Do
Monitors clients in a safe environment, performing and documenting client safety rounds. This includes ADL monitoring and coaching (i.e. life skills, communication skills, community integration, etc.).Facilitates structured activities with clients in accordance with their goals and treatment plan.Demonstrates culturally competent respect for all clients, guests and staff through verbal and non-verbal behaviors and assists them as needed.Maintains cleanliness of the program space.Safeguards Protected Health Information (written and electronically) and maintains confidentiality. This may include providing written documentation, scanning and / or uploading records into the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system. This may also include requesting and / or releasing client information or medical records.Requirements of the Position
Availability to work a Saturday & Sunday schedule (16hours per week) 7 : 30am to 4 : 00pm; all new hires are required to attend a one-weekReDiscover orientation as part of the onboarding process.High School Diploma or GED.A valid Missouri Class E automobile operator's license (or equivalent license in another state).Must carry all appropriate insurance on the vehicle being driven, necessary to comply with Missouri or Kansas State Law.Working knowledge of mental illness and substance use disorders preferred.Excellent customer service skills with a recovery focus.Strong written, oral and interpersonal communication skills.Intermediate computer skills in typing / keyboarding, Microsoft Word and Excel programs as well as the use of email.Grow With Us
