EHS Coordinator

One of Insight Global's clients is looking to hire for an Environmental, Health and Safety Coordinator in Sayreville, NJ. This individual will primarily be supporting an ongoing RNG (recycled natural gas) project and be helping out other large heavy civil projects within driving distance of the area including power plant, education, pharmaceutical and refineries. The hours will be 6am - 4pm, Monday - Friday with some flexibility. This individual will be responsible for participating in the job planning process, ensuring that safe work standards are being followed, coordinating incident investigations, attending safety meetings and facilitating new hire trainings during the onboarding process.

The client will provide a company vehicle (for work use only) as well a company credit card for all business related expenses.

Required Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of experience in construction EHS role; knowledge of rigging and excavation
• Strong communication skills; will be interfacing with client onsite to report daily or weekly
• Strong computer skills; ability to utilize different safety software including Riskonnect or SafetyCulture
• First Aid, CPR, AED and OSHA certified; OSHA500 preferred
