Overview

The BIM / VDC Specialist supports the Building Information Modeling and Virtual Design Construction process and works directly under the BIM / VDC Manager to facilitate jobsite construction using VDC. The Specialist creates 3D models on one complex project or multiple small projects and may assist with design validation and model maintenance. Visits field to learn concrete construction means and methods.

• Support pre-construction with visualization and presentation
• Support research and implementation of construction technology
• Support onboarding and training needs
• Support information technology
