Insurance Claims Specialist

A company is looking for an Insurance Claims Specialist PB.

Key Responsibilities

Submits accurate and timely claims to third party payers

Resolves claim edits and account errors prior to claim submission

Contacts third party payers to resolve unpaid claims and assists with denial management

Required Qualifications

High School diploma or equivalent

One (1) year of medical billing or medical office experience preferred

Knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to professional billing

Ability to maintain confidentiality according to policy

Experience with computers and knowledge of medical terminology preferred
