Job Duties :

Accurately process and reconcile employee timesheets to ensure correct project cost allocation.

Develop, review, and manage detailed project forecasts and budgets utilizing Excel, QuickBooks, and Procore.

Track and report materials costs for all assigned projects.

Analyze productivity versus labor costs to identify and recommend process improvements.

Distinguish between incurred and accrued costs and apply appropriate accounting terminology.

Align timesheets with project forecasts and budgets, ensuring consistency in invoicing and project documentation.

Monitor project profit margins, providing timely feedback and actionable recommendations to project managers.

Participate in project meetings to address financial matters and provide quick, thoughtful responses to project demands.

Qualifications :

35 years of relevant cost control, accounting, or project support experience.

Advanced skill level in Microsoft Excel, with hands-on experience in QuickBooks and Procore.

Demonstrated ability to compile, analyze, and explain project forecasts and budgets.

Working knowledge of processing timesheets, tracking materials costs, and managing project-level invoicing.

Familiarity with accounting concepts, including incurred versus accrued costs and soft accounting terminology.

Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills; able to provide clear feedback and recommendations.

Proven ability to quickly learn new processes and adapt in a fast-paced, project-focused environment.
