Job Description
Our client is seeking an experienced Finance Project Manager to support their team on contract basis (3+ months, with potential to extend longer). This tole requires a hybrid schedule (T / W / Th onsite) in their Bloomington, MN office.
Responsibilities
- Project Planning and Execution : Develop comprehensive project plans for financial initiatives, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and stakeholder expectations.
- Budget Management : Create and manage project budgets, track expenditures, and make necessary adjustments to ensure financial targets are met.
- Financial Reporting : Monitor project financial performance and prepare reports for senior management and stakeholders, highlighting key metrics and potential risks.
- Collaboration : Work closely with various departments, including Finance, Accounting, IT, and Operations, to ensure successful project implementation and process improvements.
- Risk Management : Identify financial risks associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them, ensuring compliance with financial regulations and standards.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field8-10+ years of financial project management experience, PMP certification preferredStrong knowledge of Accounting & Finance operational processes and technologiesexcellent communication and presentation skills
