About The Position

Job Title : OR Registered Nurse

Shift : Days

Hours per Shift : 8 hours, Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 : 30 PM

Experience : Minimum of 3 years in specialty, including 2-3 previous travel assignments

License : Valid RN license required

Certifications : BLS (AHA), ACLS, PALS required

Must-Have :

• 2-3 years of experience in the specialty
• Ortho / Neuro experience preferred
• Ability to respond to call within 20 minutes

Description :

The role involves working in an Operating Room setting with a focus on various surgical cases excluding open heart procedures.

You will collaborate with a team that ensures efficient patient flow and care during surgical procedures.

The average number of cases per day is approximately 28, with the potential for add-on cases.

As an OR RN, you will be required to manage patients during their surgical procedures in alignment with established protocols.

You will participate in call rotations, which include weekend and weeknight on-call responsibilities.

The call response time is 20 minutes; therefore, availability is crucial.

Flexibility in scheduling is necessary, as no self-scheduling is permitted for travelers.

Scrubs will be provided for the role.

Experience with Epic Systems for charting is favorable, although not mandatory.

You will be working in an acute care setting with a focus on surgical care and patient safety.
