Travel Nurse Job Details

Location : Allen, Texas 75013 (Dallas metro area)

Unit : Med / Surg Telemetry (new 10-bed unit)

Assignment Type : Travel RN

Start Date : December 15, 2025

End Date : March 15, 2026

Duration : 13-week contract

Shift : 12-hour nights (7 : 00pm – 7 : 30am); weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week : 36

Nurse to Patient Ratio : 1 : 5

Estimated Weekly Salary : $1,470 - $1,570

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license

Minimum 2 years of recent experience in hospital Med / Surg Telemetry nursing, caring for post-op surgical and orthopedic patients

BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required

ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required

Med / Surg Tele RN Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality nursing care to post-operative surgical and orthopedic patients in a telemetry unit

Monitor, assess, and document patient status and clinical progress

Administer medications and prescribed treatments accurately

Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to achieve optimal patient outcomes

Educate patients and families on recovery, discharge planning, and ongoing care

Maintain a safe, supportive, and compliant environment for patients and staff
