Overview

Direct Commodity Leader will lead sourcing of direct materials globally and regionally, focusing on strategic procurement, supplier relationships, cost management, and risk mitigation to ensure quality, reliability, and continuous supply.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement strategies for sourcing direct materials globally and regionally; negotiate contracts with vendors to secure optimal pricing and terms.
• Monitor market trends, raw material prices, and potential risks to inform purchasing decisions and forecasts.
• Build and maintain strong, collaborative relationships with suppliers to ensure quality, reliability, and continuity of supply.
• Conduct cost analysis, perform cost modeling, and monitor productivity initiatives to achieve cost-effective procurement and meet budgeted objectives.
• Identify and mitigate risks within the supply chain to ensure business continuity.
• Work closely with internal teams (Purchasing, Production, Project teams, and Finance) to understand material requirements and communicate forecasts and delivery schedules.

Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of equivalent experience
