Technical Writer Position

Peraton is seeking an experienced Technical Writer to join our team in support of the government customer's Office of Compliance for Cyber and Operations. The Office of Compliance is critical in ensuring that the government's operational mission can leverage mission authorities while adhering to all necessary compliance standards, including relevant laws, policies, and guidance. As a Technical Writer, you will be tasked with producing and managing technical documentation related to the compliance program, facilitating the operational efficiency of the mission while ensuring all documentation is thorough, clear, and meets high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities :

• Documentation Creation & Management : Write, edit, and maintain a variety of technical documentation, including but not limited to system engineering documentation, operational procedures, testing protocols, and user manuals. Ensure all materials align with government-approved templates and formats.
• Technical Materials Development : Prepare clear and concise documentation for hardware and software systems. This includes :

Installation and configuration guides.

Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

Qualifications :

Seven (7) years of relevant experience and an Associate's degree in Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physical Science, or a related technical field OR

Target Salary Range

$104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
