The Role
Help us advance our robotics moonshot by architecting and building large systems for robotic hardware. You will play a critical role in working with our world-class cross-functional team to architect and build the world’s most advanced robotic systems for the world’s biggest robotics opportunity.
Responsibilities
- Design the full power system, design circuits, layouts and PCBs, debug electronics, use all the tools (oscilloscope etc)
- Architect, develop and maintain large electromechanical systems
- Provide input on all aspects of product development from brainstorming to final delivery.
- Welcome new challenges and work independently across disciplines to both investigate issues and identify solutions.
Qualifications
Fast learner, A-player, great work ethic and ambitiousBS / MS / Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.5+ years of Electrical Engineering experienceExperience developing PCBS, firmware, and testing platforms for mechatronic / robotic systemsCAN, I2C, SPI, TCP / IP, UART, MQTTExperience working with low voltage brushless and brushed electric motorsExperience designing electronics for high EMI environmentsExperience designing basic analog and digital circuitsExperience working with embedded systems / microcontrollersOscilloscope, multimeter, logic analyzerPCB schematics, design, layout, fabricationWiring harnessing, cable management, etc.Power electronics designLinux, STM32, RTOSEmbedded systems and firmware - C / C++, PythonNice to Have
