MANUFACTURING TECHNICIAN I

Summary

A Manufacturing Technician works in various positions of Hardwires manufacturing operations, creating and assembling armor products and materials. This position requires a high level of attention to detail, initiative and a mechanical aptitude.

Position Responsibilities :

The Manufacturing Technician I handles a wide variety of situations, including :

• Production of armor parts to meet schedule deadlines
• Operating, troubleshooting and repairing equipment used in the production process
• Ensuring quality guidelines are followed as well as creating and maintaining any necessary records for the quality control process
• Following all safety procedures
• Maintaining knowledge and understanding of materials used and production equipment and processes
• Packaging material for shipment, and helping with loading and unloading of incoming and outgoing deliveries
• Cleaning the production and mechanical work areas
• Assisting in the installation of new equipment and occasional light construction
