Job description

Human Resources Manager

Salary Range : $90,000 - $110,000 (Commensurate with experience).

Duties / Responsibilities

  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, including investigations and disciplinary actions.
  • Support performance management processes, including training managers and employees on goal setting and development plans.
  • Maintain HR data integrity in the HRIS system and generate reports for decision-making.
  • Partner with hiring managers and recruiters to support exempt and non-exempt hiring efforts.
  • Facilitate onboarding, engagement programs, and exit interviews to ensure a consistent employee experience.
  • Administer HR programs related to compensation, benefits, leave, safety, and compliance.
  • Respond to inquiries regarding HR policies and escalate complex issues as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws; recommend policy updates as necessary.
  • Monitor HR trends and best practices to improve programs and processes.
  • Conduct regular check-ins with departments to provide HR guidance and share workforce metrics.
  • Analyze employee data to identify opportunities for engagement and retention improvements.
  • Partner with managers on restructuring, succession planning, and organizational development initiatives.
  • Collaborate with VP, HR on change management and training programs.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field required.
  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP / SCP) preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of progressive HR experience required.
  • Required Skills / Abilities

  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships and influence outcomes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Workday preferred.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and HR compliance practices.
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to improvement.
  • Physical Requirements

  • Prolonged periods of sitting and computer work.
  • Ability to lift up to 15 pounds occasionally.
  • Must be able to navigate production areas and wear PPE, including steel-toe shoes when required.
  • Will not be accepting or using external agencies at this time.
